32ff2Weight is a very natural dilemma, which can occur to anyone. Being overweight is becoming a common thing to many. Obesity is the foremost problem shrouding us. It is a major threat, which can cause serious health hazards to us humans, even death. In fact, it can be a cause of death, which is only second to that by Smoking. It is related to an increasing transience rate for all humans even when we include children irrespective of their age. Losing weight can only do you and your body well, even if don’t have problems that should concern you about death.

The relationship between relative body weight and mortality has been well studied in Western populations and remains controversial. Little is known about the weight-mortality association in less well fed people in developing countries.

The risk of death associated with being overweight is well known. As more men and women are becoming overweight, this timely investigation quantifies that risk and examines whether it is the same for the underweight.

This large study found optimum body mass indexes to be between 23.5 and 24.9 for men and 22.0 and 23.4 for women. As body mass index increased, risk of death increased. Men and women, with body mass indexes of 40.0 or higher, increased the risk of death by 250% and 200% respectively. In contrast, underweight men and women, with body mass indexes of 18.5 or lower, increased the risk by 26% and 36% respectively.

Following are some of the reasons for weight loss:

Foods that are high glycemic in nature should be avoided, as they can cause Diabetes later, which is again a very dangerous and fatal disease to acquire as it results in Diabetes which also a huge threat to a large number of people. It is the highest cause of deaths or untimely healthy issues after smoking and obesity.

•    Being over overweight or obese is major hindrance for us as it causes us various health hazards. It can be problematic for the arteries in the body due to the fat deposits in your body, leading to arteriosclerosis. So, it can also cause artery problems and also lead to clotting of blood or the brain.

•    It is also studies that the one-third of the deaths occurring due to cancer are because of Overweight or obese problems. So, it is a very serious threat to the mortality of humans and cannot be taken lightly.  For women, it can also lead to many serious diseases or conditions like   Breast cancer, prostrate cancer, endometrial cancer etc.

•    It also a stern reminder that overweight and obese problems can effect your lungs too. Affecting your lungs means to hurt your respiratory system, which makes you prone to breathing problems.

•    The body blood pressure also depends on the body mass to some extent. So, the BMI or the Body- mass index and age can show you very clearly the risk relating to hypertension. It can cause unnecessary tension and anxiety to many especially affecting old people and also the middle-aged people.
